The On-the-Job Training (OJT) program gives individuals an opportunity to learn job skills on-the-job while allowing employers to train new employees for the specific job duties required by that employer. The WDD is responsible for the management of this activity to include training field staff in the Career Centers in OJT development, receiving and approving individual OJT contracts, entering OJT contracts into the WIOA Fiscal system(AlaWorks), and in reviewing and approving OJT invoices to approve training reimbursements to employers.
